3.2 Kopi Luwak

Would you pay for cat poo? It may sound strange, but there are people who will pay $50 for a cup of cat poo.
In fact, the cat poo is a kind of coffee. This coffee, called kopi luwak, comes from Sumatra, Indonesia. There, kopi means coffee and luwak means civet cat. These wild cats eat coffee berries, which go through chemical changes in the cats stomach. Later, when the cats go to the bathroom, the coffee beans come back out. People on the island collect and clean these beans, and then roast them just like any other coffee. This unique process makes kopi luwak the worlds most expensive coffee.
So, how does it taste? It tastes like chocolate with caramel and has no sour taste. Now, would you like to have a cup of cat poo coffee?
